What on earth is even happening at Afghanistan? A deep insight and the after effects...

 For quite a few days, all I see in social media, as trending is "#saveafghanistan"

tags. Almost all the stories and statuses in Instagram as well as WhatsApp respectively has something or the other posted about Afghanistan issue, which had disturbing and sensitive images that just didn't allow me to be at peace. Wanted to talk on this way before when the issue started itself but couldn't find time. Now that I've become free for this week from work, thought I'd do this once and for all. The issue is intimidating as I had no clue as to why people are so desperate to leave the country. I know it wouldn't be for nothing, there should be a strong feeling within these people who have been spending their lifetime there to take this decision. But let's just hold on and look into what actually drove them to this sort of action. So without further ado....

"What on earth did just happen at Afghanistan?" - this is the question everyone's mind is trying to solve for the time being. I hope you guys would have seen the video where in the plane run-way, people are rushing towards an approaching plane, just to cling on it to escape from their mother land, I know, it's very disturbing. 😨 The most strongest army of the world - The American Soldiers were defeated by this terrorist group Taliban, how was that possible? Taliban terrorist group has also captured the government of Afghanistan, and now as an affect the entire country is under the Taliban's control. This didn't take them a long time, within just a short period of time, they achieved all this, which still is a question mark! 😕 The entire population of Afghanistan has come to still and are terrified after knowing that they will have to live under the control of Taliban Terrorist group. Especially women and young girls are not going to be treated well, and all their dreams and wishes are not even going to come to lime light with Taliban being the government. These are just a few things that makes us realize why all the people want to get out of the country in the first place. But I don't think this is enough justifying. So let's just look back to the past, the past which we were not aware of.

Lets run back in time, 25 years ago, the fact that we never knew, is that

Afghanistan was under the control and was governed by the Taliban Terrorist group, and then there were so many control and rules that were put forward targeting the female population of the country, such as, Women should only step out of the house wearing a burka, No heels should be worn, because the other men shouldn't hear their footsteps, they should not walk alone on the roads, should always have a man supporting them, women should not talk to stranger men, more over girls should not study beyond the age of 8, even if they want to study, the only thing they could study is the "Holy Quran book". These strict rules were applied and females were going through extremely hard times back then. During the Taliban Terrorist dominance in Afghan, we had the terrorist attack in America on the twin towers (2001, September 11th). Getting to know that the attack is from Taliban, George Bush the ex-president of America declares a war against the terrorist and send American soldiers to Afghan to fight back the Terrorist group. 

So during this 20 years time, America evaded Afghanistan and dominated the Taliban group, recessed the group members and tried to expand democracy by introducing American government system with new elections and etc. This wasn't a selfless move by the American government, they had their own selfish motives like to reduce the dominance by Russia and China, and to create a good impression about themselves in the world. America has spent trillions of their GDP (gross domestic product) on Afghanistan to accomplish war during this 20 year war, yet didn't quite completely destroy the Terrorist group though! There has been some sort of back up given to Taliban terrorist group and that's been provided by Pakistan, where the PM of Pakistan claims that the slavery is demolished and patriotism is accomplished in Afghan. Even China has wished Taliban on their victory and also has mentioned that they are pretty happy to get a chance to work together, so this sort of geo-politics has been happening under the table and behind the back of the population. The religious and financial support has been constantly provided by Pakistan, and people from Afghanistan who had always wanted to join Taliban were trained and sent to fight against the American war soldiers. Then comes Donald Trump, who thought that Afghanistan issue is something that doesn't relate to our country, also why spend so much of GDP and also man power in it. He declared that America would withdraw from helping Afghanistan, as it is totally unrelatable to their country. So during this declaration, he calls the members of Taliban for a peace talk, and a few points were discussed and most importantly was established amongst both the groups. That point is that, Taliban should not attack the soldiers of America and they would be returning back to their countries, withdrawing from the war against terrorism. After this, the American presidential election comes into the scenario and Trump is defeated by Joe Biden. 

People hoped that Joe Biden would do something to Afghanistan to bring the

country into peace like when the American Soldiers had invaded, but he in turn did something even more worse. He decided to withdraw the war sooner and tried bringing all the war soldiers back home. So this starts from May. So as this withdrawal takes place, the Taliban Terrorist group has so much in favor for their side, hence they go on capturing the cities of Afghanistan. Joe Biden states that this wasn't a decision taken out of

fear, but we have resolved the issue as it is unrelated to us, and no way connected to our country. By the time the declaration and withdrawal occurs, within three days, Taliban captures the capital of Afghan, and they reside in the presidential palace where the president of Afghan named Ashraf Ghani lived. Ashraf Ghani who got to know that Taliban has almost captured half of the country, fled from the palace with a helicopter full of cash and 4 cars. 😟

Afghanistan being a country with less than 10% internet penetration, had posted stories and posts in social media questioning the president's run away. As a president, he is bound to serve the community with what's right. He shouldn't have run away, he is questionable and he has to answer the pleading of the entire population of the country. Of course, this is a betrayal. Thousands of people are trying to escape from Afghanistan, as they already know how the Taliban's ruling would be, they don't want to go through all this shit yet again, hence they somehow want to get away from their home land, during which US states that they are sending 5000 war soldiers to Afghan, not to save the people of Afghan, but to save their own who have got stuck in Afghan. Civil Airplanes were not allowed to enter the Kabul airport, only US planes were allowed only to rescue their own men. The visuals you'll had watched is when the US plane landed the Kabul Airport runway, how general public thought that the US was generous enough to send them a plane to rescue. There have been people who have thought of escaping by clinging on to the wheels of the plane, but they have forgotten that when the plane is on air, the wheels would be taken into the airplane body, so there were people who had fallen from mid air and died. It is just terrifying and I just can't imagine that this is happening at this time in the world with the on going pandemic.

This is freaking bad, because, America mentioned that they would act as a helping hand, but literally doing nothing of that sort for the past 20 years, rather has made the situation even more worse, plus has divided the country, has made the terrorist group even more stronger and here they are with all sorts of trash statements saying that they are here to help. This is so very sick. 

The aftermath effects are that, the fighters of Taliban Terrorist group has been going from door-to-door asking for the girl children who are way too younger to them for their hands, basically as sex-slaves in the name of marriage. I don't know whether it's appropriate to even talk about this, and I'm not quite sure whether all of you'll have heard this term too. It's called "Marital Rape". Which means, even if it is your wife, if she is not willing to sleep with you and you are forcing her, that's called Marital Rape, because men think they can  claim their wife to do almost anything and everything they want. Sex slavery in the name of Marriage is Marital rape in my perspective. This is one of the effect of the capturing of the entire country by Taliban is now up to. Also they have stated a rule that all women who are over 15 years of age and widows of below 40 years should be married to fighters of Taliban. Seen pictures and posts where a 6 year old getting married to a 40 year old man, which makes me nauseous. Seriously, I just can't seem to get the Idea behind people as such. Comprehending the scenario is too much to digest.

I wrote this article with a very heavy heart, I never wanted to write about this, but collected myself and put upon a lot of courage before I started writing. I am extremely sorry if I have hurt anyone's religious beliefs or feelings, that wasn't my intention. I did a lot of research before putting this article right before me. I just hope and pray that people of Afghan find peace and harmony sooner, the better. Also hope Taliban is destroyed by countries who are willing to help the nation to get better survival place.
